The link above explains the the majority audience who went to see the thriller film 'Scream 3' as there was no sources to show us the results for the first one.
The most popular gender was male with 58% of them viewing it compared to 42% of women. The age range which occurred the most was again 15-24 with a high of 69% compared to only 3% of over 45's. The most popular class was C1 and the rest of them being fairly even as it is a well known film sequel.
Overall from researching these four films we discovered that the target audience for thriller is age range 15-24 as in all films this has been the most popular and a mainly male attraction. The reason for more men than women viewing the films is because of men being more attracted to violence and 'gore'. The advertisements for the films will have used blood and stereotypical images of guns and knives placed in posters and used in trailers.
